I received two gorgeous rose-themed pressies last week. Above and below, pretty potted blooms, a birthday gift from Ben. Here’s hoping my fingers are green enough to keep them from dying (unlike every pot of basil and coriander I’ve ever bought. RIP.).

Later that week I received an absolutely stunning bouquet from Ciara, a completely unnecessary – but very welcome – thank you gift for taking pics of her little fella. Dividing them up into smaller bunches, arranging them in vases and then shooting them proved very relaxing. It doesn’t get much girlier than that, as afternoons (and photos) go.
