Jane and Dara: Wedding

The minute I walked into the gorgeous Mount Juliet suite (sweet does not even begin to cover it) I felt it. Jane, padding around in her dressing gown, introduced me to her mother and her  sister. Lovely, warm, friendly people who were on a mission –  a mission to make Jane‘s day as easy, as fun, as gorgeous as possible. The affection and love was palpable.

They fussed, they fixed, they ooh-ed, they aaah-ed.

Her mum said she looked just like she imagined she would; gorgeous curls, stunning dress, glowing face. And when her Dad walked in… Wow. His eyes shone as he called her “the most beautiful girl in the world”, and I think the whole room choked up.
Paul could not have looked prouder as he walked his beautiful daughter up the aisle where Dara, her husband-to-be, was waiting.

As the day unfolded in the lush green grounds of Mount Juliet Estate, it was clear that Dara was taking his vow to protect very seriously. The way he lifted Jane’s dress, held her arm as she walked, helped her out of the car. The 6ft 7″ rugby-loving groom could not have been gentler, and it was such a sweet sight.

Jane and Dara, thank you so much for trusting me with the awesome responsibility of capturing your day. And to your families – especially Suzanne, and Jane’s mum and dad – I can’t thank you enough for the warmth, friendliness and super helpfulness.

Now for some photos…

The detail on the back of Jane’s Vera Wang dress was stunning, I couldn’t stop snapping it.

And what about that bling… The beautiful Tiffany & Co necklace matched the gown – and Jane’s elegant, simple style – perfectly.

I loved the fresh colours of the boquet.

Lots of pretty make-up.

Although, she hardly needed it…

The dress

As hair and make-up was being done, Jane & Co were still deciding which pair of heels to go with:

The dutiful and doting bridesmaids at work…

Doesn’t Jane’s Dad Paul look so proud?

Seriously Jane, you looked gorgeous!

Church time.

A calm and collected groom.

I swear, I was feeling a bit teary as she walked up the aisle…

Man and wife.

I think I’m calling the next two the ‘fierce shots’… Tyra would be proud 🙂

The grounds of Mount Juliet Estate were filled with all sorts of gorgeous features.

I LOVE this one…
