A quick cuppa at Hatch and Sons

My friend Emma and I recently dashed in for an early evening cup of tea at Hatch & Sons, the lovely new little cafe in the basement of The Little Museum of Dublin, St Stephen’s Green. It’s a warm, homely and welcoming spot, perfect for catch up chats. Walking in, you’re instantly drawn to the large table laden with freshly baked breads, jams and sweet treats, all from great Irish producers.

We both had a mug of Barry’s tea (that’s actually what it’s listed as on the menu!) and a lemon-raspberry coconut slice, which was as delicious as it sounds.

I’m looking forward to heading back for something more substantial (the Irish Times review has me hankering after an Irish stew).

    1. No way! Wow, maybe we will be bumping into each other soon 🙂 It’s a lovely spot isn’t it? Went back today for lunch and had the chicken blaa, it was delish.
