Listening To: Passenger

Passenger, aka Mike Rosenberg, is a UK singer songwriter who caught a lot of people’s attention here when he opened up for Ed Sheeran at his Irish shows. Like Ed, there is more than meets a first listen. His ballads are sweet and folksy, his voice earnest and raspy, but his songs are shot though with quite a lot of humour. Mike was meant to be performing in The Workman’s Club, but tickets sold out so fast that the gig has been upgraded to Vicar Street on 29th April!
