Quickie DIY Vases

Soft lilac hues were everywhere, and I couldn’t help but pick up a few springs from the lovely Aoife at Artisan Flowers, the little pop-up florist on South King Street (just across from H&M and Zara). Once I got them home, I found that most of my vases were full – either holding daffodils, or keeping herbs hydrated. So I popped them in a jar that once housed some yoghurt and made use of my ever-growing washi tape collection to pretty it up. The few blooms I had left went into a used Jo Malone candle.

My grandmother was right – necessity is indeed the mother of invention!
