Guess Who’s Back

Back in November, Ben went on a work trip to Colombia and had a lot of gear stolen. His beloved camera, some lenses (including my 50mm 1.4), laptop and iPhone were all taken. We both knew that at the end of the day all that is just stuff, and that the main thing was that he was safe.

However, as the weeks went on, it was so hard seeing him without it. Our photowalks were lopsided, as I went off snapping while he waited patiently. There is a happy ending though. A few weeks ago, the insurance on the gear came through and we found ourselves heading in to Conn’s, giddy as school kids, ready to replace it all.
