For the week that’s in it Part 3: Loved-up Desktop Wallpapers
I don’t really mind Valentine’s Day. There, I said it. Ben and I have a pretty low-key tradition: We get an M&S Dine in for Two, pick a movie, and settle in for the night (although it falling on a Saturday this year might tempt us to try this guide). What’s not to like?
That’s not to say I don’t subject him to a cheesy card I bought from Etsy, or silly gift. But now that I’m older, I really feel that V-day is my excuse to be cheesy and romantic, if I choose to do so, and hate the idea that anyone would feel pressured into insincere acts of romance for the sake of a holiday (sorry, ex-boyfriends).
So, with that in mind, I thought I would create these desktop wallpapers; they’re something that can be shared easily, that’s a little romantic without being fussy. In case you’re wondering, the backgrounds are different Dubrovnik sunsets. I was very happy and loved up taking each shot, my best friend and fellow camera nerd at my side, so I thought they would be a nice fit.

Download the quotes below: email them to your love, sneakily swap out their computer wallpaper, or use them yourself. They’re for anyone looking to send love out there just for the sake of it, asking nothing in return.
