Some of the gorgeous Christmas stories I photographed for the Nov-Dec issue of Image Interiors & Living have made their way online, so thought I would share, if you’re looking for inspiration on quick cocktails, canapés, or cute winter foliage.
Drink up: All-Irish Cider and Whiskey Christmas Punch
First up, a a super tasty (and easy) Irish cider and whiskey Christmas punch by mixologist Oisín Davis. I’ve been that person in the kitchen manically making mojitos, so I appreciate an easy, crowd-pleasing cocktail when I see one. This one calls for zero cocktail equipment and is designed to be made in bulk, so perfect for when a ton of peeps are calling over. As well as whiskey and cider, it features apple juice, honey, rhubarb and lemons. Yum. Get the recipe here.
Tuck in: Christmas Canapé Board
Jette dreamed up some wonderful tasty treats for this story – there are lemon and chilli mussels, Prosciutto-wrapped pears with blue cheese, garlic and chorizo soup and goat’s cheese on toast with cranberry chutney. Get the recipes here.
Make it: Beautiful winter foliage DIY
And finally, Roisin Briggs from The Garden created a pretty, simple winter foliage table setting. Eucalyptus is one of my favourite things to decorate with at Christmas as it’s so versatile – it works just as well in a vase as running down the centre of table. Get the deets here.
