Una rosa, fino y hermosa

I don’t normally banter away in Spanish on the blog, but that little phrase kept coming to me when I was shooting these flowers.

I think it was one of those school crush Valentine’s phrases boys would write: “Tu eres como una rosa, fino y hermosa,” which means, you are like a rose, delicate and beautiful. Of course, fino also means fine, and rosa also means pink so maybe they were saying you were a fine pink thing. Who knows!

Moving swiftly on…. Here are some pretty and delicate pink flowers:

Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Oh so pretty!

Love flowers, I don’t care what type they are once they’re pretty!

    Lovely pics

    1. I agree! Aldi’s €1.99 specials do the trick, as do M&S cheapo daffodils. I once lucked out by hitting up a Tesco late on a Sunday and nabbing a bunch that should have been €12 for just €4 because some were a bit wilty. I was delighted. Ah, the things that perk up our days!
