New work: alternative education for Image Magazine
On choosing a school outside of the mainstream.
I was delighted - but daunted - to be asked to write about choosing a non-mainstream education path for our kiddos in the gorgeous Spring issue of Image Magazine.
So much of our decision-making process centred on maintaining that sense of joy and wonder around learning. We wanted somewhere that saw our children as they were, not something to be shaped and moulded.
But it was scary to choose something different. No matter how much research, conversation and deep-diving you do, you can never be sure it's the right decision until you try it.
We're four years down the Waldorf path now, and I share how we are finding it (and its connection to Bluey, of all things!) in the new issue of Image Magazine, which also happens to be their 50th anniversary issue, and it's a an absolutely gorgeous read.
